Messengers of Good News (MGN)
Welcome to the Women’s Page of the Glorious Church of Christ
We are delighted to welcome you with open arms, not only to answer your questions but also to introduce ourselves, so that we can have meaningful exchanges for the advancement of God’s kingdom. Here, you will find information about women of glorious destinies and the activities they carry out within the church.
Who we are
We are ordinary women doing extraordinary things for the Kingdom of God
Like the Shunammite woman, whom the Bible describes as a woman of distinction (2 Kings 4:8) who built a upper room for the prophet Elisha, we also seek to build up the lives of the women in our church, enabling them to unlock the full potential God has placed within them and become channels of blessings for many.
Like Tabitha (Acts 9:36-40), who was renowned for her generosity, selflessness, compassion, and love for widows and the Lord, we strive to make a difference in the lives of many women.
By using the expression “Woman of Glorious Destiny,” we affirm our complete belonging to the Kingdom of God and our passion for the Lord Jesus Christ, like Mary Magdalene at Jesus’ tomb, proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom.
We also define ourselves as those whom the Father seeks, women capable of breaking the alabaster jar at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We place paramount importance on the conduct of women of glorious destiny within the Church, within their families, and in their community.
Our Vision
To be role models for our contemporaries by exercising leadership under the authority of the ministry leader, in the image of the women who served Jesus.
Indeed, for us, a woman should not assume authority, but may exercise leadership under the authority of a man established by God.
To build lives so that the households of the church and beyond become havens of peace, comfort, and family harmony.
To teach women to honor the Word of God through the principle of submission to their husbands.
To exhort Christian women to take the role of helper in the home, contributing their ideas and skills to successfully lead their married life.
To stand out in society through work, thus eliminating laziness within the Christian community and encouraging women to increasingly pursue entrepreneurship.
We simply aim to reflect the Proverbs 31 woman, a courageous, strong, diligent, and excellent woman.
To instruct and educate young women of marriageable age so that they may bring joy to their future husbands.
We also provide spiritual care through the teachings delivered during our programs.
To provide physical, moral, and material support to women who have just given birth for a period of at least one month, depending on the needs of the woman.
After one month, follow-up is provided as needed.
We also emphasize certain aspects of a woman’s daily life to eliminate attitudes contrary to Christian virtues from their environment. This includes, among other things, gossip, time-wasting activities (compulsive shopping, excessive television, uncontrolled use of the internet and social media, unnecessary time spent on the phone, etc.).
A woman of glorious destiny must guard her tongue; speak with wisdom in order to keep her body in check.
We are important to our churches, families, and communities, and therefore our behavior must reflect this reality.
We emphasize brotherly fellowship, which is a fundamental pillar of the Church.
Regular and well-planned visits are made to the women of the church without any discrimination.
